Salaries can vary depending on experience and sector. The highest salaries are for Vice-presidents, with over $200,000. Directors range from $180,000 to $250,000, while a Generalist Business Partner can earn up to $180,000.
An HRIS manager can earn more than $120,000 while a Recruitment Manager up to $180,000, and a Generalist Manager between $80,000 to $150,000.
Soft skills that employers are looking for include communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to implement change, flexibility and adaptability, problem-solving and critical thinking.
Technical skills that are desired include experience working with talent management systems and databases, interviewing, onboarding and offboarding, organization and multitasking.
