Your New Role
We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to support the planning, design, and construction of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of technically challenging and meaningful projects, including treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that improve community resilience and environmental outcomes.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform engineering design and analysis for water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and technical reports for public agency review
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling, equipment sizing, and process evaluations
  • Support construction administration, including submittal reviews and field inspections
  • Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project success
  • Assist with project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
  • Contribute to proposal development and client presentations

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design and construction
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and hydraulic modeling software
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with public utilities or municipal clients is preferred
