Your new role
As Vice President of Development Operations, you will take on a pivotal leadership role, serving as the operational backbone of the software development organization. You will be responsible for ensuring flawless execution of strategic roadmaps and delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. Working closely with the CTO, you will translate architectural vision into actionable plans and oversee initiatives that include automation, connectivity, AI-driven features, and platform support for applications. This role demands a leader who can balance speed, quality, and scalability while inspiring teams to achieve exceptional results.

Your responsibilities will span operational leadership, team development, and strategic impact. You will manage staffing, resource allocation, and process optimization, while building efficient workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and robust testing practices. Beyond operations, you will mentor and scale high-performing teams, fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration.

Acting as a key voice in executive discussions, you will provide visibility into progress, risks, and trade-offs, driving continuous improvement to support growth and innovation.

What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will bring deep technical and operational expertise, with at least ten years of experience leading software development in high-growth SaaS environments. You should have a strong background in Microsoft technologies such as C#, .NET, XAML, MSSQL, and REST APIs, along with experience in cloud-native architectures. Operational excellence and the ability to deliver complex enterprise solutions are essential.

Your leadership experience will include eight or more years managing large, cross-functional development teams. You will be adept at functioning as an operational leader within a technology organization, balancing competing priorities while maintaining long-term scalability. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, and an MBA or advanced technical degree is preferred.
