Hays Facilities Management are partnered with a leading storage and logistics company to hire a Vice President of Facilities.

Your new role

The job duties of the VP of Facilities will include, among others:

- Oversight of the FM department and team with a focus on high-end strategy as it relates to their facilities and real estate portfolio

- Lead maintenance and preventive maintenance strategies through a strong understanding of MEP

- Implement and support building technologies, including building systems and energy management

- Work with both internal stakeholders at the executive level while supporting each location and site nationally

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

- 8+ years working in Facilities Engineering — MEP, Building systems, mission-critical environments

-A Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or Engineering is highly preferred, as are FM industry certifications

- Relevant knowledge of building codes on a national scale is a strong plus

- Strong Capex background, and management of significant operating expenses

- Must be a strong leader, good gravitas, presenter

- NYC based, with hybrid option (Will discuss specific location of office site with qualified candidates)

- Travel is expected to be around 4–6 weeks per year
