Our client is seeking a UX Content Conversation Designer in Vienna, VA

Role Description

To support and/or develop user-centered design solutions for all levels of products and digital initiatives via user interface solutions and interaction models. Develops project execution plans, deployment schedules, and implements User Experience UX design projects of moderate to complex scope. Works independently with limited guidance.

• Significant experience in design fundamentals
• Significant experience in interaction design, visual design, and industry standards
• Significant experience in user centered design processes and best practices
• Working knowledge of best practices for web and mobile-based content, tools, and forms
• Ability to interpret requirements into executable design solutions
• Strong cross-group collaboration and persuasion skills
• Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Significant experience performing analysis of business processes and functions
• Advanced skill in managing timelines/deadlines/resources; ensuring successful project implementation; working across teams.
• Create prototypes for testing to ensure design meets business and user objectives
• Influence team members and business partners, explaining the impact of designing/developing with the end user in mind
• Collaborate with project teams to define solutions
• Operate within the right Design Thinking methodology based on the product, channel, audience, and the application requirements or workflow
• Proactively draw out user experience or design issues and successfully address those issues to ensure projects stay on track to meet interim project milestones

Skills & Requirements

• A Contractor - UX Content Conversation Designer creates engaging, user-centric conversational experiences for digital products and services
• Experience in designing and developing conversational flows for chatbots, voice assistants, and other AI-powered interfaces
• Proficiency in usability testing and user research
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conversational UI/UX projects
• Familiarity with conversation design tools
• User centered design (UCD) & interaction design experience: interactive designs
• Conversational UI/UX & Prototyping
• Experience supporting chatbots, voice assistants, and other AI-powered interfaces
