Your new role

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of heavy civil construction projects, including site development, utilities, and roadway work. You will analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates. Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors will be key to ensuring successful bid submissions and project planning.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years of experience in estimating for civil construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and materials
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
