A general contractor located in Hyattsville, Maryland specializes in providing design-build construction services for a wide range of projects. Established in the early 1990s, this minority-owned firm serves both public and private clients, including federal agencies, across the Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland regions. Your new role
The first project within this position will be in Europe and will mobilize in September 2025. This project will last for 1 year and the successful candidate will have to be based there for 1 year. Travel home will be provided every 6 months.
- You’ll be responsible for managing all phases of construction—from pre-construction planning through project closeout—ensuring compliance with federal regulations, safety standards, and client expectations.
- Managing multiple concurrent projects at various stages of development.
- Coordinating with federal agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Leading on-site teams and conducting regular site inspections.
- Preparing and presenting progress reports to stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Secret Clearance is Required
- 4-year College Degree
- Experience/Knowledge of Primavera P6
- 5+ years experience as a PM on Federal or Military projects
- Ability to work internationally for extended periods of time.
What you'll get in return
- Competitive base salary up to $150K based on experience.
- $1500 monthly stipend
- $2500 monthly housing allowance
- Travel allowances will include all work-related airfares with regular travel back to the US (every 1–2 months for international projects).
- Monthly stipends on future projects will vary dependent on the standard of living of the project location. Hazard pay is provided if the project is in a location where safety is a concern.
