Your New Role
As a Supervising Mechanical Engineer Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing engineering projects, leading coordination meetings, managing staff, and ensuring project completion. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead coordination meetings.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and staff.
- Provide periodic objective and comprehensive employee evaluations.
- Assist Technical Manager and Chief Engineer in business unit technical training and staff mentoring.
- Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
- Coordinate with accounting to prepare monthly project invoices.
- Monitor project accounts receivable and contact clients as needed to expedite payment.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- PE licensed Engineer.
- 12+ years of experience in mechanical design for MEP systems.
- Strong technical proficiency, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with managing people and projects.
- Experience in QA/QC.
- Willingness to travel as required.
