A fast-growing commercial construction firm with active projects across Florida is seeking a Superintendent to lead and manage ground-up commercial construction projects. This company is known for its commitment to quality, safety, and work-life balance, and is expanding its footprint on both the east and west coasts of Florida.


Your new role

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities for commercial construction projects ranging from $2M to $10M. You’ll manage subcontractors, coordinate schedules, ensure quality control, and maintain safety standards. You’ll play a key role in delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating subcontractor work and vendor deliveries
  • Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Creating and maintaining 2-week look-ahead schedules
  • Managing inspections, shop drawings, and material logistics
  • Conducting daily site walks and safety meetings
  • Maintaining documentation and reporting to senior management
  • Supporting change proposal preparation and cost tracking

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial construction as a Superintendent or Project Manager
  • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Physical ability to lift 40–80 lbs. with proper equipment or assistance
