A well-established Florida-based construction management firm is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on high-impact public sector projects. Your new role

As a Superintendent, you will oversee daily on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with experience in occupied site renovations and public sector construction.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing subcontractor coordination and daily site operations
  • Ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards
  • Maintaining project schedules and resolving field issues
  • Conducting site meetings and collaborating with project managers and engineers
  • Enforcing quality control and maintaining accurate documentation

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Experience with public sector, K-12, higher education, or municipal projects preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and digital documentation tools
  • OSHA 30 certification required; CQCM or similar credentials a plus
