Our client is a leading commercial General Contractor specializing in ground-up construction projects across the hospitality, retail, and mixed-use sectors. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships.

Position Overview:
The Superintendent will oversee all field operations for ground-up hospitality projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage subcontractors and coordinate with project managers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day on-site operations for ground-up hospitality projects.

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.

  • Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, and material deliveries to maintain project timelines.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.

  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders regarding progress and issues.

  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and change orders.

  • Resolve on-site challenges promptly to minimize delays and cost impacts.

    Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8–10 years as a Superintendent with a commercial General Contractor.

  • Project Background: Proven experience managing ground-up hospitality projects (hotels, resorts, extended stay facilities).

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety standards.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).

    Preferred Certifications:

  • OSHA 30

  • First Aid/CPR

  • CQM-C or similar construction quality management certifications
