Position Overview:

A leading commercial general contractor in Orlando is seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to manage field operations for ground-up commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with commercial G.C. firms and a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all onsite construction activities for ground-up commercial projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure timely and quality execution.
• Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and proactively address delays or issues.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and meetings to ensure alignment across teams.
• Review and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project goals are met.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
• Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Preferred Experience:
• Experience with retail, office, hospitality, or institutional ground-up builds.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and phases simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
