Your new role

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to final inspection
• ️ Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure timely and quality execution
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards
• Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting as needed to meet deadlines
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues
• Lead daily site meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, reports, and safety records

What you'll need to succeed

• ️ 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong background in ground-up projects
• Prior experience building K-12 or higher education facilities highly preferred
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and complex schedules
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and building codes
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within NC.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
