Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects in Cocoa Beach, FL, with a strong focus on hotel tenant improvement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of superintendent experience, a solid background in commercial general contracting, and a proven ability to manage field operations from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules
• Oversee hotel renovation and tenant improvement scopes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and local building codes
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents to guide field execution
• Conduct daily site inspections and maintain accurate project documentation
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders regarding progress and issues
• Manage change orders, punch lists, and final closeout procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
• Strong background in commercial general contracting
• Hotel tenant improvement experience highly preferred
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents
• Knowledge of scheduling software and construction management tools
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA certification and familiarity with local building regulations
