Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Healthcare Superintendent to oversee field operations for healthcare construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with healthcare construction standards, including AHCA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to project closeout.
  
• Ensure compliance with AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) standards and healthcare-specific building codes.
  
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project timelines and quality.
  
• Conduct daily site inspections and enforce safety protocols, including infection control and interim life safety measures (ILSM).
  
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and hospital staff to resolve field issues.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  
• Manage logistics, deliveries, and site access within active medical environments.
  
• Communicate regularly with clients, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial general contracting.
  
• Proven experience in ground-up healthcare construction projects.
  
• Strong understanding of AHCA regulations, infection control protocols, and healthcare facility requirements.
  
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
  
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
  Preferred Experience:
  
• Projects involving hospitals, surgical centers, medical office buildings, or long-term care facilities.
  
• Experience managing multiple phases of projects simultaneously.
  
• Familiarity with ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) procedures.
