Superintendent-Commercial Projects

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing either ground-up or tenant improvement (TI) projects in the commercial sector. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors while maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day onsite operations for commercial construction projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure timely and quality execution
  • Maintain project schedules and proactively resolve delays or conflicts
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
  • Conduct daily site inspections and progress reports
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, architects, and engineers
  • Oversee quality control and punch list completion
  • Manage site logistics, including deliveries, equipment, and workforce planning

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction
  • Experience with ground-up and/or tenant improvement (TI) projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and scheduling software
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
