Commercial Construction Superintendent

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dependable Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects across Jacksonville and Daytona Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with commercial general contractors (G.C.s) and a strong background in ground-up and tilt wall construction. This role requires hands-on field leadership, schedule management, and coordination of subcontractors to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily on-site operations for ground-up and tilt wall commercial projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to maintain workflow and meet milestones
• Maintain and update project schedules using construction management software
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance
• Enforce OSHA standards and company safety protocol
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
• Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment usage
• Document daily reports, RFIs, and progress updates

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial G.C.
• Proven experience in ground-up and tilt wall construction
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, permitting, and inspections
• Proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Willingness to travel between Jacksonville and Daytona Beach as needed

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with retail, industrial, or office builds
• Familiarity with Florida building codes and inspection processes
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Local to Northeast or Central Florida
