Your new role
- Managing all day-to-day field operations on ground-up and interior construction projects
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Developing and maintaining project schedules and driving milestone completion
- Leading site logistics planning and construction sequencing
- Ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Implementing and enforcing safety programs and OSHA requirements
- Conducting subcontractor meetings and progress reviews
- Identifying and resolving field-related challenges proactively
- Coordinating inspections, testing, commissioning, and project turnover activities
- Building strong relationships with clients, design teams, and project stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- 6+ years of experience with a General Contractor in a Superintendent capacity
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish
- Experience within higher education, multifamily, entertainment, office, government, or institutional construction preferred
- Ground-up construction experience highly preferred
- Experience leading projects ranging from $10M to $200M in value
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and site logistics
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple trades and stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction
