🏥 Healthcare Superintendent – Charleston, SC

Are you a seasoned construction leader with a passion for healthcare infrastructure? We’re seeking a Healthcare Superintendent to oversee the ground-up development of a Hospital. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in complex environments and values collaboration, precision, and purpose-driven work.

Your new role

  • Lead all on-site construction activities across multiple healthcare facilities
  • Coordinate with inspectors, city officials, and jurisdictional authorities
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site safety meetings
  • Manage subcontractors and delegate tasks to field staff and assistant superintendents
  • Ensure work aligns with contract documents and project specifications
  • Maintain daily progress reports and communicate updates to the Project Manager
  • Oversee project scheduling, sequencing, and recovery strategies
  • Foster strong relationships with architects, engineers, and owners
  • Drive project success in terms of safety, quality, schedule, and profitability

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up healthcare construction
  • Proven track record managing large-scale projects ($70M+)
  • Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction management software
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and team management skills
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and healthcare compliance standards
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to be on-site full-time in Charleston.
