Are you a seasoned construction leader with a passion for healthcare infrastructure? We’re seeking a Healthcare Superintendent to oversee the ground-up development of a Hospital. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in complex environments and values collaboration, precision, and purpose-driven work.
Your new role
- Lead all on-site construction activities across multiple healthcare facilities
- Coordinate with inspectors, city officials, and jurisdictional authorities
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site safety meetings
- Manage subcontractors and delegate tasks to field staff and assistant superintendents
- Ensure work aligns with contract documents and project specifications
- Maintain daily progress reports and communicate updates to the Project Manager
- Oversee project scheduling, sequencing, and recovery strategies
- Foster strong relationships with architects, engineers, and owners
- Drive project success in terms of safety, quality, schedule, and profitability
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up healthcare construction
- Proven track record managing large-scale projects ($70M+)
- Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction management software
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and team management skills
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and healthcare compliance standards
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to be on-site full-time in Charleston.
