Job Title: Traveling Superintendent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive ground-up commercial construction experience, particularly with big-box projects such as Walmart, Target, and similar large-scale retail developments. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage multiple projects across various locations in Florida, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
Allocate resources for assigned projects.
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards on site.
Travel to various project sites across Florida as required.
Qualifications:

8–10 years of experience in ground-up commercial construction.
Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent on big box projects (e.g., Walmart, Target).
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
Proficient in project management software.
Willingness to travel extensively within Florida.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Certification in Project Management or related field.
