Our client is a premier National Developer Builder who is entering Phase II of a landmark 3-phase master-planned community in San Jose. They are seeking a mid-level Superintendent to join the construction team. This is a career-enhancing opportunity to be part of a high-profile, 375-unit, 6-story wrap-style multifamily project from the ground up.

Your new role

As a Project Superintendent for this new construction, your role will be to support the Lead Superintendent and Senior Project Manager to manage the site works and utilities phase of the project transitioning to the vertical scope over the coming months. Key tasks include

• Assist in managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence
• Coordinate daily field operations, subcontractor activities, and inspections
• Support site logistics planning, materials management, and workforce scheduling
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and field staff to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.=
• Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports and progress tracking

What you'll need to succeed

This position requires at least 5–8 years of solid construction experience, with the last 5 focused on Multifamily or Ground-up commercial projects. To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical knowledge of the construction process, be proficient at reading plans and have strong communication skills to work effectively with your subcontractors and project team. Experience using software tools like Procore or PlanGrid is also highly attractive.
