Job Title:Project Engineer


Job Summary:
The Construction Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This role ensures technical accuracy, compliance with design specifications, and timely delivery of project milestones. The Project Engineer acts as a liaison between the field team, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the construction process.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and project specifications.
  • Prepare and manage RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, change orders, and punch lists.
  • Support procurement efforts and track material deliveries.
  • Maintain daily reports, meeting minutes, and project logs.
  • Collaborate with field supervisors and foremen to resolve technical issues and improve workflow.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in project closeout procedures including documentation, commissioning, and turnover.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction or engineering (internships may count).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
