Sr. Project Manager (Infrastructure & Infosec) – Contract or CTP – Sunrise, FL – $70.00-$75.00/hr.

Our client is seeking a Sr. Project Manager (Infrastructure & Infosec) in Sunrise, FL.

Role Description

Infrastructure & Technical Services with Infosec:
In this critical leadership role, the Sr. Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a diverse project portfolio that bridges physical infrastructure and operational technology services. The portfolio includes high-stakes "bricks and mortar" construction projects – such as building out network and A/V infrastructures for new offices or managing complex moves and expansions – and technology innovation initiatives. Additionally, this role ensures the operationalization of projects within the ITSM practice, BC/DR program, and the Global Tech Support Desk.
Project & Portfolio Management
•Project Intake & Governance: Partner with PMO leadership to drive data-driven portfolio decisions, establishing rigorous go/no-go criteria that align investment with business strategy.
•Prioritization & Optimization: Evaluate project value to prioritize and allocate resources effectively, ensuring work begins at the optimal time.
•Portfolio Planning: Develop project sequencing and timing, considering resource constraints and interdependencies.
•Resource Capacity Planning: Assess resource utilization against available capacity and allocate resources accordingly.
•Portfolio Intelligence: transform raw project data into actionable insights for executive leadership, providing transparency into portfolio health, value realization, and strategic alignment.
•Value Management: Evaluate, measure, and track project benefits at the portfolio level.
•Communication: Clearly communicate all aspects of project and portfolio progress to relevant stakeholders.
Risk & Change Management
• Assess Risk: Assess and manage portfolio-level risks, dependencies, and critical paths.
•Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
Product & Requirements Management
•Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, translating them into clear, actionable user stories.
•Backlog Management: Assist the Product Owner in managing and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, appropriately sized, and ready for development.
•Documentation: Create and maintain essential documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
•Testing Support: Partner with the development team to define test cases and acceptance criteria, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Requirements: Ensure projects meet business requirements and compliance standards (e.g., security, privacy, and regulatory).

Skills & Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience leading enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technical services projects and portfolios from planning through implementation.
• Strong experience delivering infrastructure, network, cloud, office buildout, relocation, A/V, telecommunications, and operational technology projects in complex enterprise environments.
• Proven leadership of cybersecurity initiatives, including security implementations, risk management, governance, compliance, and Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery (BCDR) programs.
• Experience managing project portfolios, resource planning, project intake, prioritization, governance, budgeting, executive reporting, and cross-functional teams including vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM practices, including incident, problem, change, and service management, preferably supporting enterprise service desk operations.
• Proficiency in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, with experience facilitating project delivery across infrastructure and technology initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Smart sheet for project planning, reporting, documentation, and execution.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including WAN/LAN, circuit installations, telecom providers, server environments, cloud migrations, and infrastructure deployment projects.
• Exceptional executive presence with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes, communicate risks, and provide strategic updates to senior leadership.
