Our client is seeking a Sr. Pega Developer in New York, NY.

Skills & Requirements

Experience/Expertise:
1. Owns the product – Provides technical leadership of the development in Pega and along with complete hands-on experienced role
2. Is knowledgeable enough to do the work and instruct/lead others on data model, security, reporting, performance, case life cycle, case hierarchy, UX/UI, error handling, and infrastructure.
3. Mentors the development team and installs best practices within the development team.
4. Leads quality checking and improves overall testing.
5. Prevents/catches errors/defects going into QA - reduce defect rate
6. Prevents/eliminates production errors with production releases with forethought in how bug fixes and enhancements impact other application functionality.
7. Has the technical capability to lead development of brand-new workflows.
8. Provide the technical thought leadership in Pega design and offers alternatives incorporating best practices
9. Validates and challenge user stories as well as provide expertise to more accurately point user stories.
10. Maintains guardrail scores within Pega best practices
11. Clearly communicates ideas with the team - verbally and written in user stories
