Our client is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst in Orlando, FL

Role Description

The Sr Business Analyst will provide analysis on an upcoming modernization project. In this role, their duties will include deep dives into the integrations and documenting requirements, and working with business partners to ensure the solution will address their needs.
• Translating business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Leading planning sessions and managing product backlogs and sprint planning activities.
• Conducting interviews, workflow and process analysis, and observation sessions to gather and refine requirements.
• Collaborating with users, QA teams, and software engineers to design and map comprehensive user journeys.
• Serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and users across multiple regions.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to align product strategies with business goals, ensuring solutions deliver value and meet expectations.
• Identifying and proposing opportunities for process optimization and innovation.
• Communicating effectively with users, stakeholders, and team members regarding releases, outages, and key updates.
• Quickly ramping up at learning a new product.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence)
• Completed studies in IT or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with excellence in both written and verbal expression.
• A collaborative team player with proactive mindset and strong ability to work effectively in a multicultural, global team environment. Demonstrates emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative and ownership.
• Applies best practices and insights from internal and external sources to enhance products or services.
• Skilled at communicating complex or sensitive information clearly and constructively, with a focus on building consensus.
• Five or more years experience in IBM Maximo.
• CBAP or CCBA certification.
• Experience in writing technical requirements including API documentation.
