The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Sr Project Manager in Stamford, CT.

Skills & Requirements

• Experience coming up with retention ideas for customers
• Strong proficiency in Excel: pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs, error detection
• Experience with BI dashboards and reporting tools
• Ability to pull data from multiple sources and synthesize into actionable insights
• Weekly/monthly churn analysis: trends, variations, and root causes
• Diagnostic thinking to uncover why customers are leaving and how to retain them
• Ability to lead pilot programs and transition them into mainstream operations
• Experience managing timelines (1-week to 1-month stakeholder cycles)
• High-level planning: 3–4 month roadmaps, milestone tracking, and stakeholder alignment
• Comfortable working across 6–8 teams (e.g., Customer Ops, Inside Sales, Training, Process)
• Light documentation: PowerPoint decks, strategic summaries (no MS Project required)
• Skilled in crafting strategic asks and gaining buy-in from senior leadership (EVP level)
• Comfortable working with full-time employees and remote/hybrid teams
• Ability to define customer-centric solutions and retention tactics (e.g., trial offers, backup services)
• Experience in early-stage program development and optimization planning
• Ability to critique and refine existing workflows
• Creative problem-solving to develop new retention strategies
• Strong sense of ownership in building out new functions (e.g., retention desk)
• Willingness to iterate and improve based on pilot feedback and diagnostics
• Must have specialized skill listed under specializations tab.

• Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.

• Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures. Develops project plan and drives project milestones.

• Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.

• Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.

• Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets. Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word.

• Requires demonstrated subject matter expertise in the specified area. 7 + with specialized skill years of experience.
