HAYS Recruitment has partnered with one of the largest privately-owned Real Estate firms in NYC. This firm owns and operates over 3.8MM square feet of residential space along with 9.5MM+ square feet of commercial space.

Your new role

As the Live-In Senior Resident Manager, you will support an ultra-luxury 500+ unit rental portfolio across 3 properties in the Midtown East and Murray Hill neighborhoods in NYC. The Senior Resident Manager will manage 2 Resident Managers and their staff. While the Senior Resident Manager will be required to live onsite with a spacious 2 bedroom apartment provided, this is not a working super role. Hands-on maintenance experience is preferred in order to effectively oversee building operations and staff. However, the focus will be on budget management, staff supervision, and customer service, rather than performing repairs directly.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5–10 years of experience in multifamily facilities management (300+ units)
• Experience managing on-site maintenance staff
• Well-versed in budget management + cost savings
• Strong knowledge of 32BJ protocols + procedures
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
