This company is looking for an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join their team!

Your Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reconciling and analyzing asset, liability, and capital accounts, and managing journal entries and recurring adjustments. Additional duties include maintaining fixed asset schedules, assisting with budget forecasting and variance analysis, supporting operating expense reconciliations, and preparing jurisdictional filings. The role also involves managing Positive Pay uploads, compiling audit documentation, and mentoring junior accounting staff, including training new team members when needed.

What You Need to Succeed

You should have four to six years of real estate accounting experience and hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and familiarity with Fixed Asset software is preferred. Experience with property accounting software is a plus but not mandatory.
