Our client is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester for a remote opportunity.

Role Description

We are looking for a skilled web app penetration tester and code reviewer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting product security assessments that involve web and mobile app penetration testing, manual code review in Java, application security architecture review, and threat modeling. They will also advise development teams on improving security architecture and remediating identified vulnerabilities.

- Conduct web and mobile app penetration testing and manual code review in Java
- Perform application security architecture review
- Conduct threat modeling using Stride and Dread methodologies
- Advise development teams on improving security architecture and remediating identified vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of products
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends

Skills & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years of dedicated web app penetration testing and code review experience
- Current experience conducting manual pen testing
- Experience conducting manual code review of multiple languages/dev frameworks
- Proficient in Java
- Familiarity with Checkmarx
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
