This firm has been developing land and properties in NYC & NJ for over 100 years! As one of the largest landlords in the area, they are interested in growing and expanding and continuing to provide quality homes, offices, and places to visit for the people of this great city. The company is fully vertically integrated, having in-house development, construction, property management, and other teams all under one name. This position would be on the construction team and would be focused on the commercial portion of their projects and portfolio. The bulk of properties are in Manhattan and Jersey City. The team is looking for a solid Senior MEP Project Manager to come in and, one day, take over the department!

Your new role

As a Senior MEP PM, you will be focused on construction for their commercial portfolio. Naturally, you will be tasked with handling the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection trades for their projects. You will work with MEP staff in the field (MEP Super, etc.) and will oversee multiple projects from the ownership side of things. This position will report to a Senior Managing Director, and the hope is that this person will take over the department in the coming years.

What you'll need to succeed

• 10-15+ years' experience.

• Construction experience in NYC and Jersey City.

• Experience managing the MEPS for projects.

• Commercial construction project management experience.

• An engineering-based degree is highly preferred.
