Your new company

I am partnered with an established construction firm that has been based in Mid-town Manhattan for over four generations. They specialize in commercial interiors and full-scale building renovations specifically within the commercial space with projects throughout medical, institutional, corporate, and retail projects across the New York City metro area. Their portfolio also includes around 15% of new build, out of the ground construction in-which they have a number of mid-rise developments ranging from $250k – $45MM.

Your new role

As they continue to grow, they are looking for a Senior Estimator to join their estimating team of 4. You will be adding to their expertise as they continue to carve a niche within the New York construction market. In this job, you will be passionate about building and maintaining relationships with both clients and sub-contractors while delivering competitive cost estimates across a variety of contract types.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in your job as a Senior Estimator based out of New York City, you will have 5+ years’ construction estimating experience under your belt specifically on the interior side (fit out and renovations) with a General Contractor and/or Construction Management firm. You will be well-versed in utilizing PlanSwift and will have bid on a range of construction projects throughout the tristate area.
