Your new role

  • Lead estimates from concept to final bid submission
  • Collaborate with clients and design teams to develop budgets and value-engineering options
  • Identify and qualify subcontractors and vendors
  • Solicit bids and negotiate pricing for best value
  • Maintain historical cost data and unit pricing
  • Monitor market trends, labor rates, and material costs
  • Coordinate with project managers for smooth project handoff
  • Present cost strategies and budget assumptions to clients
  • Use estimating software to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Refine internal estimating procedures for consistency and speed

What you'll need to succeed

  • 6-8+ years estimating experience within a general contractor environment.
  • Proven track record in bidding on restaurant, hospitality, and retail interior projects
  • Lead estimates from concept to final bid submission with precision and speed
  • Collaborate with clients and design teams to develop budgets and value-engineering options
  • Identify and qualify subcontractors and vendors with relevant trade experience
  • Solicit competitive bids and negotiate pricing to maximize value
