Your new role

Lead estimates from concept to final bid submission
Collaborate with clients and design teams to develop budgets and value-engineering options
Identify and qualify subcontractors and vendors
Solicit bids and negotiate pricing for best value
Maintain historical cost data and unit pricing
Monitor market trends, labor rates, and material costs
Coordinate with project managers for smooth project handoff
Present cost strategies and budget assumptions to clients
Use estimating software to improve accuracy and efficiency
Refine internal estimating procedures for consistency and speed

What you'll need to succeed

6-8+ years estimating experience within a general contractor environment.
Proven track record in bidding on restaurant, hospitality, and retail interior projects
Lead estimates from concept to final bid submission with precision and speed
Collaborate with clients and design teams to develop budgets and value-engineering options
Identify and qualify subcontractors and vendors with relevant trade experience
Solicit competitive bids and negotiate pricing to maximize value
