Our client is seeking a Salesforce Data Manager in Anaheim, CA
Role Description
We are seeking a Data Manager to work on our energy efficiency programs in NYC. to oversee data integrity, reporting, and analytics for a program that leverages Salesforce CRM and involves significant client engagement. This role ensures accurate data management, supports decision-making through insights, and facilitates seamless client interactions by maintaining high-quality information systems.
Data Management & Integrity
• Maintain and monitor data quality within Salesforce and related systems.
• Implement data governance standards, including validation, deduplication, and compliance checks.
• Develop and enforce protocols for data entry and updates to ensure consistency.
Reporting & Analytics
• Design and generate dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Salesforce and other BI tools.
• Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to support program goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to define metrics and reporting requirements.
Client Interaction & Support
• Serve as a data liaison during client onboarding and ongoing engagement.
• Ensure client-related data is accurate, timely, and accessible for program teams.
• Provide training and support for staff and clients on data-related processes when needed.
System Administration
• Manage Salesforce configurations, workflows, and user permissions.
• Coordinate with IT and vendors for system enhancements and troubleshooting.
Team Leadership
• Manage and coordinate Salesforce contractors to ensure timely delivery of system enhancements and maintenance.
• Supervise and mentor a Data Analyst, providing guidance on reporting, analytics, and data best practices.
• Allocate tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance for team members.
Compliance & Security
• Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations and organizational policies.
• Monitor and mitigate risks related to data security and confidentiality.
Skills & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in data management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing Salesforce CRM and external contractors.
• Strong understanding of data governance, reporting, and analytics principles.
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience in program management or client services.
• Familiarity with API integrations and data migration processes.
• Duties will include working under the direction of our Technology Director on special projects and on maintaining existing projects in a sales/service organization.
