Hays have partnered with one of the country’s leading retail owner/operators, who are looking to hire a Property Manager to lead a sizable portfolio across their Boston and greater Massachusetts region. This position is key to ensuring the delivery of first-class experiences for tenants and customers, and ensuring operational excellence across each asset.


Your new role

As the Property Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and financial reporting for each asset within your portfolio. Key responsibilities include managing relationships with tenants and stakeholders, overseeing all operations relating to build-outs, capital projects, and leasing activities, and implementing company-wide initiatives. Based out of the regional corporate office and with regular travel across the portfolio, you will collaborate with in-house construction, leasing, and legal teams to proactively review, enhance, and implement business plans to optimize property performance. With the support of an internal team, you will also oversee the preparation and implementation of operating budgets, and the ongoing evaluation of budget performance.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in retail property management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead a team and work collaboratively.
  • Ability to conduct regular travel across the portfolio is a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
