QA Analyst II - Manual (Imaging Group) – Contract – Remote – $40.00 - $45.00/hr.

Our client is seeking a QA Analyst II - Manual (Imaging Group) in Remote opportunity.

Role Description

• Analyze requirement documentation/user stories for validity to reduce requirement gaps and contribute toward issue prevention.
• Create and maintain library of test cases.
• Execute the following levels of testing when assigned. (Functional, System, Integrated, Regression, UI, Usability, Accessibility, Compatibility, and Exploratory.)
• Detect, report, and track system defects and inconsistencies.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical team members within both IS and business community.
• Participate in planning and issue status meetings as needed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Support testing efforts for operational changes and enterprise projects.
• Further expand knowledge of department procedures and testing methodologies required to be effective in the tester role.
• Support test efforts for assigned application team and platforms.
• Provide objective feedback to software development and project teams.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and System Administrators to complete assigned projects on time.
• Attend training sessions on new products and systems as needed to support testing efforts for assigned projects.
• Maintain proficiency in department processes and procedures.

Skills & Requirements

• Obtained a four-year degree preferably in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
• Obtained CCUE Certification
• Obtained Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree through the North Carolina College Transfer Program (NC-CTP).

• Combination of education and experience required.
• Experience working as software tester or similar role is required. For internal applicants, advanced knowledge of systems, services, and procedures may be acceptable in lieu of experience in software testing.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a team player that is able to cooperate and collaborate with co-workers.
• Works effectively in both a team environment and independently.
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the organization’s success.
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Excels in a fast-paced environment.
• Fundamental knowledge of testing best practices and methodologies.
• Working knowledge of test management software is preferred.
• Complete continuing education and training courses as assigned by management to expand and enhance effectiveness in the tester role.
• Must adhere to work schedule and attendance policy established by manager.
• Must be able to speak English fluently.
