Our client is seeking a Python Automation Developer in Greenwood, CO/Hybrid.
Role Description
Seeking a mid-level Python Automation Developer with over two years of experience using Robot framework.
• CICD - Design Vendor Merge request flow for RDK projects
• CICD - Design OEM vendor template for target build
• CICD - Design Mock OEM vendor template for testing pipelines
• CICD - Design SOC Platform vendor template for creating reference platform build image
• CICD - Design TDK integration solution on the Gitlab platform - test targets, test libraries, tech stack
• CICD - Create CICD pipeline for RDKB image release for each OEM device
• CICD - Create Gitlab repo structure for OEM vendors and Charter repos for RDKB devices
• CICD – Implement pipeline to build firmware for the test pipeline
• CICD – Implement pipeline to build release firmware for the test pipeline
• CICD – Implement pipeline to generate secure signed image using OEM and Charter signature keys
• CICD - Create automated tagging/release pipeline for RDKB device in CICD
• CICD - Create integration of TDK based pipeline test for Merge request flow
• CICD - Import RDKB device git repo structure into Vendor repo for Sercomm I have one other engineer that is collaborating with Levi, however he is more junior and would likely struggle to know and perform all remaining duties.
• Overall CI/CD Development Pipeline management will take a significant hit and we might find ourselves in a situation whereby there may not be the necessary pipeline setups in order to support new development or devtest efforts.
Skills & Requirements
Python Programming:
• Mid-level proficiency (3.5 years of experience)
• Familiarity with all syntaxes, strings, and basic concepts
Robot Framework:
• 2 years of experience
• Ability to interact with data and Robot Framework using Python
• Experience with end test cases pulling data from Robot Framework
Networking Knowledge:
• Understanding of WAN/LAN
• Experience with OpenWRT, OEM, or WiFi
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
Microservices and APIs:
• Experience with data access layers from all APIs
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Familiarity with data APIs and microservices, including Plume and SCPs
• Framework Layer 3:
• Experience with framework layer 3 data access layer
• No UI testing required
Communication and Documentation:
• Ability to create logs in Robot Framework that non-technical people can understand
• Experience with manual teams and stakeholders
• Onboarding and Training:
Soft Skills:
• Team player with a helpful mindset
• Flexible working hours (8-5)
• Ability to participate in scrum meetings and close assigned tickets
• Open to learning and exploring new things
• Encourages a fun and engaging work environment with monthly quizzes and team lunches
