Our client is seeking a Project Specialist in Denver, CO.
Role Description
• We are looking for a Project Specialist to help support our Talent Programs, mainly focused on background screening. This person will support the day-to-day operations and will also have the opportunity to lead small projects and help support strategic initiatives throughout the year. They will be responsible for reporting, data and document management, responding to questions, resolving problems and building partnerships with our vendor, recruiters, and HR to provide an excellent candidate experience. This position requires someone who can build trust, work independently and collaboratively, is agile, takes initiative, is solution oriented and values continuous improvement.
• Maintain, track and monitor compliance through reporting and communicate results.
• Pull, filter, review and follow-up on daily reporting regarding delays, exceptions, and expirations.
• Manage our e-mail inbox and act as a subject matter expert to answer all incoming questions, issues and requests and escalate as appropriate.
• Partner with our vendor to answer questions, submit service tickets, get status updates and solution problems.
• Utilize Workday to review candidate information and order manual background checks as needed through our vendor’s platform.
• Partner with program manager on strategic initiatives.
• Lead monthly, annual and ad-hoc internal screening projects and collaborate with Program Manager and business partners on progress.
• Assist Program Manager in reviewing, maintaining and refining program policies and documents on our site.
• Create and document internal processes as needed and identify areas for improvement.
Skills & Requirements
• Strong excel capabilities (Required) and skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in ServiceNow (Required)
• Experience using Workday Recruiting (Required)
• Experience with First Advantage (Strongly Preferred)
• 3+ years experience in HR / Recruiting (Required)
• Strong prioritization, organization, and time management skills
• The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver the appropriate level of detail based on audience
• High attention to detail and accuracy of data; proven ability to use data to identify inefficiencies and help implement process improvements
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to build trusting relationships with internal partners
• A high level of curiosity, ownership, and accountability
