This fully-integrated real estate development company builds, owns, and operates multifamily residential properties in the NYC area. The focus is affordable housing, so they have a robust pipeline for work. They have been in business over 50 years and are looking to hire top talent as they staff up for the coming year.

Your new role

One of the first hires will be another Construction Manager. As the "CM", you will oversee the contractor as they do capital construction work on the public spaces within their buildings and on the interiors of apartment units. As a part of the in-house, owner-side construction team, you will learn more about the real estate process with this firm than you would with a typical contractor.

What you'll need to succeed

• 3–7 years' experience in construction
• Construction-related degree preferred
• Experience working with a general contractor in a project management capacity (PM, APM, Engineer, etc.)
• Experience working on affordable housing preferred but not required
• Local NYC experience REQUIRED
