Our client is seeking a Project Manager In Miami, FL.
Top Skills / Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on blended experience as a PM that can wear multiple hats inclusive of BA and QA in a complex, enterprise environment
• Must possess strong experience with gathering and capturing requirements
• Must possess experience creating technical documentation and writing user stories
• Must possess strong experience and proficiency with writing test cases for manual testing (automation testing experience is a plus)
• Must possess experience and proficiency managing project timeline and resources
• Must possess strong experience and proficiency with SQL (for validation)
• Must possess strong experience working with a PM tool (they use Azure DevOps) – could be that, Jira, Clarity, MS Project, etc.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to collaborate will with cross-functional teams
• Flexibility for after-hours/weekend deployments is required (adjusted within 40 hrs/week) – max needing to work those types of hours will be twice a month
• Availability to visit a ship within first 3 months for hands-on experience
Work through existing legacy systems, documenting functionality and integrations (including APIs, system transformations, and data warehousing).
• Support data movement and replication projects, often requiring reverse engineering to understand current processes.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to translate goals into actionable documentation and testing plans.
• Leverage tools such as Azure DevOps, scripting, and SQL within Carnival’s Microsoft-centric environment.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and validating system changes to ensure smooth deployment.
Job Description
Carnival’s Business Technology team is seeking a Project Manager with strong technical aptitude who can wear multiple hats—PM, QA, and BA. This is not a purely PM role; the ideal candidate will be hands-on with requirement gathering, test planning/execution (manual), and stakeholder communication while managing timelines and deliverables.
You’ll work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to document legacy systems, manage testing efforts, and ensure smooth deployments. The team is working through a significant backlog, so they need someone who can hit the ground running and bring strong organizational and communication skills to the table.
