Construction Project Manager | Commercial General Contractor

We are currently seeking a motivated Project Manager to support project delivery in our Virginia market.


Your new role :As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the successful execution of commercial interior construction projects. You’ll work closely with project engineers, superintendents, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned construction projects
  • Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality standards
  • Assist in preparing bid packages and proposals in collaboration with estimating and marketing teams
  • Support contract execution and help resolve any contract-related issues
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Participate in internal project meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts
  • Ensure timely resolution of RFIs and other project documentation


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–7 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, preferably with a general contractor
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with clients and team members
