Our client is seeking a Project Manager in Morehead City, NC.
Role Description
• Scheduling and coordination of working sessions, touchpoints, and related project meetings using agile principles.
• Leading business and functional requirements gathering and translate into technical specifications
• Organizing and managing development tasks and activities across the application lifecycle.
• Supporting and facilitating staff and end-user testing sessions.
• Updating high-level project tracking tool weekly (Touchdown) and MS Project
• Writing and maintaining project documentation and templates.
• Contributing to production of key artifacts, tools, and systems such as a design library.
• Supporting and facilitation of project documentation and templates.
• Must be a team-oriented professional who thrives in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
Skills & Requirements
• Demonstrated experience with IT project management – Required 5 years
• PMP certification preferred but not required – Highly Desired – 3 years
• Demonstrated experience with IT business and functional requirements gathering – Required – 5 years
• Demonstrated experience creating a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit for IT vendors – Required – 5 years
• Strong communication skills – Required – 5 years
• Demonstrated Experience with Microsoft Project, Office 365 applications, including SharePoint, and MS Teams – Required – 5 years
• Preferred: Visio – highly desired – 3 years
