Your new role

As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of sitework and utility projects from pre-construction through closeout across the Houston metro (I‑10 East/West corridors and surrounding counties). You will oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within margin.

• Managing multiple civil/site development and underground utility projects (earthwork, grading, drainage, water/sewer, paving).
• Leading project planning, cost control, and schedule management using tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and P6/MS Project.
• Coordinating closely with Superintendents, field teams, and subcontractors to drive production and resolve issues.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for owners, consultants, and inspectors (municipalities, counties, private developers).
• Overseeing procurement, change orders, RFIs, and contract administration.
• Ensuring full compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and local regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5–10+ years of project management experience in heavy civil, sitework, or underground utilities.
• Proven track record delivering projects in Texas (Houston/Gulf Coast experience strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods including earthwork, drainage, stormwater, and wet utilities.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and project financials with a focus on margin performance.
• Familiarity with industry software (Procore, Bluebeam, HCSS, P6 or MS Project).
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
