We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Construction to lead and oversee all aspects of mixed-use commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This executive-level role is responsible for driving project execution, ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence, and aligning construction operations with the company’s strategic goals.

Provide executive leadership to the construction team, including project managers, superintendents, and field staff.

Develop and implement construction strategies that align with company objectives and project timelines.

Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Oversee all phases of high-rise commercial construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from pre-construction planning to final turnover.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations.

Recruit, mentor, and retain top construction talent.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.

Develop and manage construction budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.

Review and approve contracts, change orders, and pay applications.

Work closely with finance and development teams to ensure financial alignment.

Serve as the primary point of contact for construction-related matters with internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and city officials.

Provide regular updates to executive leadership and investors on project status and risk mitigation.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business or related field (Master’s preferred).

15+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record of delivering mixed-use commercial projects valued at $100M+.

Deep understanding of construction contracts, scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6), and project management tools (e.g., Procore).

Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
