Join the construction arm of a national developer/builder with HQ in NJ as a PX!!

-Your new company-

This firm has been in business for the past 30 years, and is a solid mid-sized General Contractor based in Northern NJ. They are the construction arm of a larger real estate management company, but they are so robust that they mostly do 3rd party work. One of the selling points is that they don't let people go because of lack of work. They have tons of work, and they are very compassionate about their people. Being in the low income/affordable space, this firm truly cares about people. This includes its tenants, but certainly includes its employees. They have 7+ projects coming up, and have been adding to the team consistently, but now it's time to bring a Project Executive-level individual to oversee the operation. If you are interested, light travel could also be an option. Depends on what you are looking for in your next role. Apply now to learn more!

-Your new role-

As a Project Executive overseeing projects in the Tri-state area, you would be responsible for multiple projects and multiple Project Managers in the Tri-state area. This is less of a "Business Development", "Go win us business"-type role, and more of a Director of Construction-type role. More focus on managing multiple projects and their teams. The bulk of the work is low-income occupied multifamily renovation and rehab. The company also does some new construction. They are looking for a PX to join the business and bring their expertise to the team! Depending on your appetite for travel, there is even scope to oversee projects down the East Coast. This is not a requirement, more of an option. They are looking for 2-3 people.

-What you'll need to succeed-

  • Construction project management experience in the multifamily sector

  • Experience managing multifamily residential projects

  • Occupied rehab experience is required

  • Low-Income / Affordable housing project experience is ideal

  • Experience working for a General Contractor

  • Relevant education preferred, but not required

-What you'll get in return-

  • Join a mature business with a large pipeline of work

  • Good work/life balance

  • Not a super corporate firm, they are flexible with their employees.

  • Awesome company culture

  • Good benefits with a large bonus

  • Ability to travel, if interested
