Your new role

As a Project Engineer, you will:


  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and permitting authorities.
  • Assist sales teams with preliminary project analysis, material take-offs, and technical queries.
  • Prepare construction documents such as plans, assembly drawings, and details for ground-mounted racking systems.
  • Carry out engineering analysis, including structural calculations, in line with relevant codes and standards.
  • Propose and validate design improvements to reduce material usage and overall system cost without compromising quality.
  • Support quality control processes, including documentation reviews and First Article Inspections (FAIs).
  • Review project documentation to identify potential challenges.
  • Stay current with best design practices and emerging technologies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • AutoCAD
  • 3D modeling experience beneficial
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of code requirements and ability to apply them effectively.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
