Job Description:
- Analyze project contracts and specifications thoroughly to ensure compliance and clarity.
- Support the project leadership team with scheduling, coordination, and administrative tasks.
- Contribute to the development and updates of project schedules.
- Assist in tracking quantities, forecasting costs, and managing project budgets.
- Source pricing from subcontractors and vendors, including for change orders.
- Coordinate equipment and material requisitions to meet project timelines.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to address and resolve project challenges.
- Help prepare monthly billing statements, cash flow projections, and change order documentation.
- Maintain organized document control systems including submittals, drawings, and contract files.
- Review daily field reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage technical documentation such as submittal logs, permits, pollution prevention plans, and progress schedules.
- Ensure compliance with inspection protocols, survey requirements, utility coordination, testing procedures, and claims documentation.
- Communicate updates to subcontractors and vendors when changes in plans or specifications affect deliverables.
- Support project closeout activities and documentation.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the project leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus in Construction Engineering and Management.
- 5–8 years of experience in civil construction, with exposure to both office and field operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and scheduling software such as Primavera P6.
