Project Coordinator required by a Multifamily Developer based in San Jose, CA OR Danville, CA

Your new company

Our client, a nationally recognized multifamily developer, is looking to hire a detail-driven Project Coordinator to support multiple construction projects across San Jose and the South Bay Area. You’ll be the operational backbone—keeping schedules tight, documentation clean, and communication seamless between Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors and stakeholders.

Your new role

As the successful Project Coordinator, your key tasks will include tracking schedules, budgets, deliverables and milestones across multiple projects, assisting in maintaining look-ahead plans and updating project dashboards. In terms of documentation & controls, you will support the RFI/submittal log process, manage meeting agendas/minutes (OAC & internal), change orders, pay apps, lien waivers, permits, and closeout packages. For logistics & procurement, you will assist with coordinating material/equipment deliveries, site services, vendor onboarding and punch/warranty tracking to keep field teams moving. On a day-to-day basis, you will be the point of contact for project updates and action items, escalate risks early and drive resolution — and you will support QA/QC checklists, inspection readiness, and adherence to safety standards and project specifications.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2–5+ years in construction coordination or project engineering (multifamily/mixed-use experience a plus)

  • Proficiency with construction and collaboration tools (e.g., project management platforms, plan review software, spreadsheets).

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines without dropping the details

  • Clear, professional communication with field and office teams; comfortable running meetings and documenting decisions

What you'll get in return

High-visibility on multiple high-profile multifamily projects in the heart of Silicon Valley

Collaborative team culture with strong field/office partnership.

Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, with growth pathways in project management.
