Our client is seeking a Product Manager II in Greenwood Village, CO
Role Description
• Market Research: Conducts research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
• Feature Evaluation: Assesses the effectiveness of current product features and recommends new features or enhancements.
• Requirements Gathering: Elicits and documents business requirements from stakeholders to inform project scope and objectives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Acts as a liaison between business and other stakeholders to ensure alignment, includes the ability to compile executive facing materials (eg PowerPoint)
• Collaboration with Cross Functional Teams: Works closely with Engineering, IT, among others to ensure that the product meets user needs and business goals.
• User Story Development: Leading use case development to outline the customer experience based on associated product requirements and business rules
• Define Go-To-Market: Partner with Mobile product and Marketing Offer Mgmt on the go to market approach
• Defect Triage and Prioritization
• Document workflows based on existing system integrations and how experience is impacted for customers
• Review user stories and clarify any test requirements through acceptance criteria
• Keep documentation such as business rules updated
• Analysis of system integrations to discover points of failure in customer experience
Skills & Requirements
• Responsible for leading product lifecycle and development initiatives for our services and applications.
• Deeply understands industry best practices in product development process specific to the cable or telecommunications space and translate appropriate steps for unique organization and market position.
• Informs and assists with gathering information to translate high-level process goals into specific sub-processes with appropriate documentation, develop communication plan for stakeholders and process.
• Supports the development and communication of product strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results.
• Works with different lines of business on implementing new product strategy.
• Leads product launches and enhancements of products across service and application portfolio.
• Level II has a minimum 3-5 product development/management experience within cable/telecommunications . Level III has a minimum of 5-7 Years product development/management experience within cable/telecommunications. . 5 - 10 years of experience.
• Product management/Development experience
• Working cross-functionally with other product or program teams. Ability to easily build relationships
• Executive facing communication and PowerPoint creation (ability to condense a lot of information and communicate the ideas in an easy-to-digest format).
• Experience documenting requirements, creating user stories
• Experience working with JIRA and Microsoft Suite
• JAMA requirements experience
• WiFi/Mobile background HIGHLY desired
