A leading Maryland-based General Contractor is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join their dynamic estimating team. Reporting directly to the Director of Preconstruction, this role is pivotal in driving competitive hard bids for public, municipal, and government construction projects ranging from $25M to $100M.

Your new role

• Lead full-cycle bidding across all trades for ground-up and renovation projects
• Manage 1–2 bids per week, each valued between $25M–$100M
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate, timely submissions
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and RFPs to develop comprehensive bid packages
• Mentor junior estimators and contribute to strategic bid planning

What you'll need to succeed

• 8+ years of estimating experience in commercial or public construction
• 4+ years managing bids or preconstruction team members
• Proven success in public sector hard bids
• Strong understanding of all trade scopes and bid strategy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
