A leading Maryland-based General Contractor is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join their dynamic estimating team. Reporting directly to the Senior Preconstruction Manager, this role is pivotal in driving competitive hard bids for Education projects ranging from $25M to $100M.

Your new role

• Lead full-cycle bidding across all trades for ground-up and renovation projects
• Manage 1–2 bids per week, each valued between $25M–$100M
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate, timely submissions
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and RFPs to develop a comprehensive bid package.

What you'll need to succeed

• 3–5 years of estimating experience in education construction
• Open to candidates with interiors experience or ground-up bidding projects valued at 5M+.
• Strong understanding of all trade scopes and bid strategy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
